The design process

Knops Tuindesign takes care of the design and realization of your outdoor space, so that it fits perfectly with your home or business: large and small gardens, luxury wellness, swimming pools, patios, roof terraces, canopies or outdoor kitchens… We can handle any challenge!

Listening

During an initial meeting we will discuss your wishes and requirements together. We ask you to collect images in advance that appeal to you so that we get a good sense of what you want and we get a good impression of which direction we are going.

In consultation it is also possible to do a visit on location and we can measure the garden by GPS.

Sketch design

When making the first sketch, we focus on layout and surface division. We do this on the basis of the discussed conditions, wishes and possibilities. Every design phase is done in 3D, so that you can experience your future garden from the beginning and get a realistic picture of what to expect.

The sketch is presented to you at our office in the form of a 3D presentation, which can show you your future garden from every angle. We take all the time together for the discussion and then let this first impression 'rest' for 1 to 2 weeks. Time that you can use for a well-thought-out feedback.

Final design

Before making the final design, we go into the details. Your feedback on the first sketch will be incorporated and a proposal for the planting and materials will be presented at our office. The result of this final design phase is a definitive design, provided with a floor plan with a description of our vision regarding the materials and the plants. This plan is to scale and from this plan a price can be made by the Gardener.
